Synergy Day Two Keynote: Taking Virtualization Mainstream

Patrick Gelsinger

Patrick Gelsinger

Senior Vice President, General Manager, Digital Enterprise Group
Intel

Intel applied innovative uses of virtualization to solve some of IT's biggest challenges around TCO, security and business agility with the introduction of Intel Virtualization Technology for servers in 2005 and clients, as a component of Intel vPro Technology, in 2006. However, says Mr. Gelsinger "we are not there yet".
Mr. Gelsinger will share his vision of virtualization's future in the data center and in PCs as it goes mainstream throughout the enterprise. He also will provide a glimpse of future products and why the industry is so excited about virtualization.
